Placing an Order
|
|
You can order with us in any of the following ways:
Online
Phone
E-mail
ORDER ONLINE Place items in your "virtual shopping cart" by pressing the Add to Cart  button of those items you want to buy and go through our checkout process. A credit card will be required to complete the purchase.
ORDER BY PHONE Call us at (877) 732-5155 to place an order with us.
We can take all the necessary information over the phone. If we're not in the office, you can leave your name and number and we'll return your call to take your order.
ORDER BY MAIL/E-MAIL If you don't want to order online or you want to use a different payment method than credit card, send us an e-mail or a letter detailing the items you wish to buy (size, style, color, quantity) and include your name, address, and phone number. We'll reply telling you if any items are out-of-stock and what the total cost of your order will be.
As payment, we accept money orders (in U.S. funds). Mail your payment to:

International Ordering
|
|
The Hippy Chix Shop currently ships internationally to many countries around the world. Orders are shipped using USPS Global Priority Mail whenever possible because of this method's low cost and high reliability. Please note that the Hippy Chix Shop reserves the right to decide the method of international delivery. Average delivery time on international orders is 7 to 10 business days. Please note that some international deliveries have taken as long as 45 days.
If you wish to order from us but your country is not an available selection during the checkout process, send us an e-mail with your name, address and a list of the items you would like to buy including item number, description, style, color, quantity, etc. We will write you back letting you know:
- if we can accept your order
- the total cost of your order including shipping charges
- what additional information we'll need from you if you wish to use a credit card
We also accept money orders in U.S. funds as payment.
* PLEASE NOTE * On international orders, if your Shipping address does not exactly match your Billing address, your order will be cancelled.
If your order exceeds 16 pounds, we will contact you with the correct shipping charges before processing your order.
Due to the extra packing requirements needed for a gift-wrapped item, we do not offer gift-wrapping on international orders.
Please note that orders shipped outside of the U.S. may be subject to import duties and taxes. You are solely responsible for any charges incurred by your local customs agencies. Also note that many times, local customs agencies may delay your delivery for reasons unknown to us. Please familiarize yourself with your customs policies if you intend to order internationally.
If you refuse shipment of an order or the payment of the customs charges, we reserve the right to charge your credit card with the return postage. We enjoy our international customers and think you'll find international shopping with the Hippy Chix Shop a pleasant experience!

Sales Tax

We are required by law to charge New Mexico residents sales tax on all orders.

Special Orders
|
|
Yes, we do help our customers with special orders! If you are looking for an out of print shirt or a special size, send us an email and we'll do our best to help out. A 50% up-front deposit is required for all special orders. Special orders are also non-exchangable and non-refundable!

Promotional Codes
|
|
A promotional code is the internet version of a coupon.
If you have a valid promotional code (one which is recognized by our store and hasn't expired), you can use it to save money on merchandise you order from us. After you've selected your items and are ready to order, click on the Check Out  button on the Shopping Cart page. This begins the checkout process. Complete the Shipping Information page and click on the Continue  button. This will take you to the Payment Information page. Near the bottom of this page you'll notice a section called Coupon or Promotional Code. This is where you enter your promotional code. When you've finished filling in the required info and click on the Continue  button, you'll immediately see the savings from your promo code as a deduction from your order total.
A promotional code is only valid between the time you receive the promotional code e-mail and the date and time the code expires. We are unable to apply special discounts to items ordered before or after the duration of a promotional code offer.

Out-of-stock Items |
|
Many of our items are seasonal or have a limited production run by the manufacturer. In our store, you may find that an item's availability is limited to specific sizes or is out-of-stock. Will the item or size be back in stock at some point? That depends. Many of our "bread and butter" items such as the collectible shirts by Itsus and Yukiko have limited production runs meaning that many times, once we have sold all our stock, we cannot purchase more as the item is no longer produced. At our discretion, items that are getting "out-of-season" may not be re-ordered. In our quest to bring you what we feel are the best and most current fashions, we may, of course, decide to no longer carry an item or substitute it with a different item.
Our goal at the Hippy Chix Shop is to bring you some of the most eye-catching and trendy fashions available today. As you can see, alot of factors can affect which items we carry. Even so, if you have a question concerning the availability of our items, please e-mail our Customer Service department.

Order Status |

We currently do not have online order status checking. Our orders are usually processed and shipped within 24 hours, possibly longer on holidays or weekends. The majority of our customers receive their orders in 2 to 3 business days. If, for any reason, we expect a delay in the processing of your order, we will promptly notify you. Order Confirmation |
|
As soon as we receive your order, we will contact you to acknowledge your order and to provide you with the USPS Priority Mail tracking number that will belong to your package. When we process your order shortly thereafter, you will receive an order confirmation displaying the detail of your order. After processing, your order will normally be shipped within 24 hours (with the execption of weekends and holiday).
